Domain Grace & Redemption Period
Renew your domain before expiry to avoid extra charges and service interruption. The table below shows Pakish.NET's .com grace and redemption fees in Pakistani rupees (PKR). A separate invoice late fee applies to overdue hosting and domain invoices.
Domain Expiry Fees: .com Example
| Stage | Duration | Additional fee |
|---|---|---|
| Grace period | 20 days after expiry | Rs. 10,000 |
| Redemption period | 30 days once the domain enters redemption | Rs. 55,000 |
* This is an example for .com domains only. Grace and redemption periods and fees may differ for other TLDs (domain extensions). Submit a support ticket to confirm the exact fees and recovery options for your domain.
The fees above are additional to the normal domain renewal price. Any applicable invoice late fee is separate; check your invoice or ask support to confirm the total payable.
Invoice Late Fee: Hosting & Domains
| Added after | Late fee | Minimum fee (PKR) |
|---|---|---|
| 7 days after the invoice payment due date | 10% | Rs. 500 |
The late fee is 10% of the overdue invoice amount, with a minimum charge of Rs. 500. For example, a Rs. 3,000 invoice attracts a Rs. 500 late fee, while a Rs. 10,000 invoice attracts a Rs. 1,000 late fee. This is measured from the invoice due date, not the domain expiry date.
What Happens When a Domain Expires?
An expired domain may pass through grace and redemption stages before deletion. Your website and email may stop working after expiry. Recovery depends on the domain's current registry status, so contact support promptly instead of assuming services or recovery will remain available throughout these periods.
What Happens After Redemption?
If you don’t recover your domain during redemption, it is deleted and released for public registration. At this point, anyone can register it—including competitors or domain investors.
Best Practices to Never Lose Your Domain
- Check your renewal settings and ensure your renewal invoice is paid before the due date
- Keep your contact and billing info up to date
