Hosting Migration Process
Free migration is included for eligible new hosting accounts. This page describes the typical process and customer responsibilities.
What we migrate
Files, MySQL/MariaDB databases, email mailboxes (where included in the plan), and DNS records when requested. We validate the site on a staging URL before cutover when possible.
Customer responsibilities
Provide current hosting panel or SSH/FTP access, database credentials, and domain registrar access for nameserver updates. Back up data before migration. Schedule cutover during low-traffic windows.
Timeline
Simple WordPress sites often complete within 24–48 hours after credentials are received. Complex multisite or custom apps may take longer; support confirms scope before starting.
